Alizee is Alizee Jacotey singer from France. She is from Corsica, born on 21.4.1984.

She's been a singer since 1999, famous for her work in and out of France, and hasn't stopped since. The entrance into the world of music, started by a pure chance when she wanted to compete in a talent show as a dancer, but sang instead. She won an award as the most promising star of times to come. This was in 1999 and a year later after she combined her efforts with Mylene Farmer and Laurent Boutonnat, released her first album, which was welcomed in her homeland, Belgium, Germany, UK and Mexico and Asia. She released another 3 albums following the success of her debut one (her last one came out in early 2010) as well as 2 compilations.

She won 3 awards in 2001 and another 3 between 2003 and 2008. She performed various tours worldwide and her music is a mix of ballads, pop tunes, and a bit or rock and rap. She has her own official website. Alizee also sometimes goes by her nick name "Lily".

She married young, at the age of 19, to her French husband who's also a singer, Jeremy Chatelain. She gave birth to a daughter. Continuing on a personal front, she has no scandals behind her, even though her early albums portray her otherwise. Her last album, Psychedellics that got out in 2007, sees her in a grown-up light.

The release of her last album saw her drop-out of the concert that she was getting ready for in France. She likes soccer as well as dancing that hasn't stopped since her teenage years. Alizee is also involved in non-profit concerts almost every year, raising money for the less fortunate. She is popular around the world and sold more than 5mill of her albums. She stepped out of the public light for 4 years, just after she got married. She only returned to it when her 3 album came out.
