Ashley Michelle Tisdale came into the world on July 2, 1985. She calls West Deal, New Jersey her place of birth. Tisdale is an American pop sensation, actress and more recently a TV producer.
She started probing into the entertainment industry at the tender age of 3 when she was spotted at the mall by her long time manager Bill Perlman. In her early years she was part of Broadway's Les Miserables which she was cast at only 8 and the production of Annie with which she toured internationally. Tisdale sang at the White House for Bill Clinton when she was only 12 and on a different note, was a Ford model along with childhood friend Mischa Barton.
She came to be known to a wider audience when she was cast in Disney's production of the "High School Musical" (2005). She played the part of a popular, ambitious, go-getter Sharpay Evans, although she originally auditioned for the role of Gabriella Montez, which was later assigned to Vanessa Hudgens. With the success of High School Musical her singing numbers on the film's soundtrack, Tisdale was signed to Warner Bros. Records in 2006.
She released her debut album "Headstrong" (2007) with singles such as "Be Good To Me" and "He Said, She Said". She went back to play Sharpay Evens in the "High School Musical 2" and 3 (2007) and (2008), also recording a few numbers on the soundtrack.
"Guilty Pleasure", her second full album, was released in 2009 debuting in 12th place on the Billboard 200. Her other film accomplishment include movies such as "Picture This" (2008 TV movie) and "Aliens In the Attic" (2009) has appeared in campaigns for Ecko and Staples Inc. She was in a relationship with Jared Murillo until March 2009.
