Maike Meijer (Nijmegen, 1967) is a Dutch actress and screenwriter. She is best known for her role as Mariska van Zuylen in the police series Awning and Canopy and absurdist comedy series Tower C. For that series Meijer wrote the script, along with Margot Horse. They play in that series, most typetjes itself, in total about 80.
Maike Meijer graduated in 1992 at the Theatre Academy and was in that year the Henriette Hustinx Prize for most promising student. Then she played roles including the National Theatre and Paardenkathedraal, including Midsummer Night Dream, which won the Audience Plays. Meyer also had roles in films such as The Little Teun Dress and also she had roles in other Robb and Lieve Lust.
In the 90s presented by Jan Douwe Meijer Kroeske for VARA a season-long program the adventurous young Livingston, which was comparable with Jules Unlimited. Han Romer and Titus Tiel-vegetable she wrote several plays, including Braak and Bermuda Triangle. For Paardenkathedraal she wrote Four men in 2003.
